Which accessibility standard do we aim for?

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. These are the international guidelines for making websites usable by people with a wide range of disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control or screen magnifiers.

What have we done to make the site accessible?

• We have checked the colour contrast of text, links and buttons against WCAG 2.2 AA.
• You can use every page with a keyboard alone, moving through it in a logical order.
• A clear outline shows which link, button or field has keyboard focus.
• A skip link at the top of each page takes you straight to the main content.
• Images have text alternatives that describe them.
• Every form field has a visible label, and form messages are read out by screen readers.
• Pages use a clear heading structure, and tables have captions and headers.
• The main content, links and forms work without JavaScript.
• The site respects your device setting to reduce motion.

Are there any known problems?
